Greater Northern Lehigh’s Winter Restaurant Week

February 23-29 | Various Locations
The week-long event is designed to shine a spotlight on the diverse and delicious restaurants the Northern Lehigh Valley has to offer. Participating businesses include Curious Goods at Bake Oven Inn (Germansville), Back Home Bagels (Schnecksville), 19th Grille at Woodstone (Danielsville), Mr. Doggy Style Hot Dog Shoppe (Walnutport), Legends Valley at the Best Station (Slatington), Mama’s Pizza (Slatington) , The Art of Flavors (at the Slatington Diner, Slatington), and Willow Street Pub (Coplay).  

Cocktails & Craft Beer Week

Feb. 24-29 | SouthSide Bethlehem
Join SouthSide Arts District for the 3rd Annual Cocktails & Craft Beer Week, a week-long celebration of the SouthSide’s fantastic cocktail & craft beer scene! Visit your favorite participating SouthSide shop or bar and take part in a variety of tastings, discussions, and happy hours.

Crazy Contraptions Day

Feb. 29 | Da Vinci Science Center
Crazy Contraptions is all about accomplishing simple tasks in the zaniest and most complicated ways imaginable! Explore chain reactions using dominoes, popsicle sticks, virtual reality, and Rube Goldberg Family Speed Builds. Imagination, humor, and teamwork are front and center during these wacky activities.

Emmaus Soup Crawl

Feb. 29 | Emmaus Borough
Emmaus has offered you a Troll Trail, Scarecrow Trail, and Cheers Trail, but now they are offering a trail for all ages throughout the entire Borough. The Soup Trail will take participants through Chestnut Street Strip Malls and around the Triangle to try soups in a variety of different businesses. Passports are $15 in advance or $20 day of the event.

Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival

Feb. 29 | SteelStacks
During this event, the ArtsQuest Cinema Committee will present one winner with the Best in Show Award and a $500 cash prize. The award will be determined by a jurying panel of committee members and regional film professionals. A celebration for filmmakers and cinephiles alike, the evening includes screenings of all the top submissions in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas.

Introductory Workshop: Native American Drumming

Feb. 29 | Museum of Indian Culture
join Reed Brown, Oglala, Lakota Tribe, South Dakota, to learn about the significance of the Native American drum, and how to drum to different beats of traditional native songs. This interactive workshop is suited to those who are interested in understanding ancestral native knowledge of the First People of North America.

East Penn Area Restaurant Week

Just in time celebrate the turning of the seasons, East Penn Chamber’s Restaurant Week is right around the corner and bringing some of the best restaurants the community has to offer. Enjoy options at this year the participating businesses: GIO Italian Grill, Savory Grille, McDonald’s of Emmaus, HOUSE and BARN, Sahara Mediterranean Cuisine, Smashburger, Foundation Tavern, East Penn Diner, Trapp Door, Volpes, Superior, The Shelby, and Don Juan Emmaus.

PURSEonality: A Stylish Handbag History
