My obsession with Real Estate began in 1985, when as a young teacher, I purchased an ocean front co-op in Brooklyn, New York. When the Realtor told me that it was a studio, I said, “If it has a terrace, and a view of the ocean, I’d love to see it”. That first taste of ownership was powerful. I enjoyed everything that home offered including gorgeous views, the boardwalk, and easy beach access. When I got married two years later, I sold that apartment for 61% more than I had paid for it, and I was hooked! My husband Marc and I purchased a small one family house in Brooklyn’s Marine Park neighborhood, and we made it our own.
While teaching, I became a Real Estate Salesperson and then a Broker-Salesperson, selling condominiums onsite in Staten Island, and later working for a Broker in Brooklyn. By May 1997, we had 3 children, (Hunter, and twins Ciera and Gavin), and we decided to move to New Jersey. I continued working in the NYC school system and raising my children. I put my professional real estate career on hold, but continued selling and buying houses for our family’s personal use. My husband and I bought and sold 4 houses in New Jersey, and purchased a condominium in New York City. In May of 2017, we made the best move so far, when we bought a home in beautiful Bucks County, PA.
In 2020, I decided it was time to help others by sharing what I’ve learned through all of my Real Estate experiences, both professional and personal. When I’m not buying and selling homes, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as walking, quilting, reading, rollerblading and snow skiing.
